In my creative journey, I often ponder questions like, "Can I manipulate materials to convey my emotions?" and "How does my choice of materials reflect my mood?" My artistic roots trace back to Europe, where as a young teenager, I had the privilege of experiencing the rich tapestry of design during my family's three-year stint in Italy and Spain. The European influence, coupled with the unique shopping experiences of the mid-'70s, left an indelible mark on my style and sensibility.

While pursuing a major in Fashion Illustration in college,

I delved into various artistic pursuits, including a brief metals class. However, it wasn't until two decades later that I answered the call of my true passion—jewelry. An apprenticeship and professional training in stone setting became the turning point, and I haven't looked back since.

So, what kind of jewelry do I design? Think stackable, classic pieces with a touch of Rome and European inspiration, reflecting the textures and styles I witnessed in Italy. My focus? Whether it's stones or metals, I put them on the bench, play with ideas, sometimes sketch, and let the creative process unfold organically.

Engaging with the metals, I've learned that each behaves uniquely, and certain stones find their perfect match with specific metals. Technical nuances have been mastered over time, adding a layer of expertise to my creations.

But beyond the craftsmanship lies a deeper connection—a commitment to honest conversations and one-on-one connections. Let the work speak for itself, and in the process, create individual Memory Pieces, forged from loved ones' treasures.

Currently, my focus is on crafting pieces rooted in European inspiration, infused with multi-cultural elements. Picture luxury metals and artisan-cut gemstones like tourmalines, ridge cuts, cabochons, and diamonds coming together in harmonious elegance.
